HOW TO Use
Step 1
Always follow ideal medical conditions & aseptic techniques when dressing a wound
Step 2
Irrigate and clean the wound site to prepare the wound bed and then carefully dab the area around the wound dry with sterile dressing pads.
Step 3
Place Suprasorb X +PHMB on the wound and mould to shape.
Step 4
Depending on the level of exudate, secure with an appropriate secondary dressing: for non-infected wounds.
MODE OF ACTION
- Surplus exudate is taken up from the wound into the dressing
- Moisture is released from the dressing into the wound
- Microorganisms are killed by the released PHMB.
- Depending on the wound status, the unique hydro-balance fibres either donates moisture to the wound or absorbs excess exudate. This creates a moist environment perceived by patients as pleasant and pain-relieving.
- Suprasorb® X+PHMB combines the beneficial properties of moist wound healing with the long-lasting antimicrobial effectiveness of PHMB.
